Who We Are
Partner With Local Construction Contractors in Gladewater, TX, East Texas, and the Surrounding Ark-La-Tex Region
For nearly three decades, DTP Construction & Home Improvements has been the crew East Texas homeowners call when they want the job done right. Founded in 1997 and led by Shawn Fortenberry, DTP has built its reputation by delivering solid workmanship, standing behind every project, and stepping in when other contractors leave problems behind.
DTP is not just another construction company in Gladewater, TX. We are craftsmen who take pride in the details and treat every property like it matters. From building a custom sunroom or covered patio to repairing storm damage, replacing roofing, or tackling a difficult remodel, we bring the experience and follow-through needed to get the job done properly.
Our services cover a wide range of home improvement and construction needs, including sunrooms and patio covers to roofing, siding, soffit, & fascia services, decks & porches, windows & doors, and remodels. That range also makes DTP a go-to choice when a project involves more than one part of a property.
Our Core Values
- Trust & Integrity: We believe trust starts with telling customers the truth. Our proposals are straightforward, our communication is clear, and we stand behind the commitments we make.
- Quality Craftsmanship: Nearly three decades in the industry have taught us that the details matter. Whether it is a repair, remodel, exterior upgrade, or custom project, we focus on workmanship that holds up.
- Customer-Centered Service: We listen, communicate, and stay involved throughout the project. When something is wrong, we do not pass the problem along. We find the issue, address it, and work toward a lasting solution.
- Professionalism: Our crews show up ready to work and take pride in doing the job correctly. We respect your property, your time, and the standards that come with every project.
- Community Connection: DTP is rooted in East Texas. We serve our neighbors with the same level of care and accountability we would expect for our own homes.
